Muinmos has announced that it has secured the services of Emil Kongelys as its new Chief Technology Officer, effective immediately.
According to a press release shared with Finance Magnates, Emil Kongelys, an IT engineer with fifteen years of experience in the financial services sector, has been appointed by Muinmos, a RegTech firm that specialises in automated regulatory compliance, as its new Chief Technology Officer.
Kongelys will begin in a new position that will require the continuous development of its market-leading Regulatory Onboarding Engine. Additionally, he will be in charge of managing the IT team as it expands to accommodate Muinmos’ increasing global client base. Muinmos’ innovative technology uses AI and machine learning to simplify onboarding and enhance the compliance process across multiple jurisdictions.
Reflecting Back on Kongelys Vocation
Prior to this new opportunity at Muinmos, Kongelys spent almost ten years at CFH Clearing Limited (Finalto). From January 2015 until very recently, he led the Integration Team and took on the responsibility for building and evolving the Prime of Prime brokerage’s proprietary trading system and leading the integrations team. Previously, he served as Senior Software Developer for just short of three and a half years where part of his role included FIX implementations, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Before CFH Clearing, he founded his own company, InovaTrader Aps and worked as a Software Engineer. From 2004 until the end of 2011, he developed software systems for high-frequency trading in the US markets.
Additionally, at SOLIDO SYSTEMS A/S, he spent a year as an intern where he began his career.
While Kongelys was employed at CFH, he worked alongside Remonda Kirketerp-Moller, now Founder and CEO of Muinmos, as she was one of CFH’s Co-Founders and Executive Director. His earlier experiences included some years as an entrepreneur when founding InovaTrader to build proprietary trading systems for the execution of in-house developed strategies.
Emil Kongelys responded to the press release saying that: “Having worked with CFH for almost ten years, I was ready for a career move and was very interested in the rapidly growing RegTech sector, helping financial institutions to streamline and enhance their compliance function. I believe Muinmos has the most comprehensive and effective Regulatory Onboarding Engine – it can provide a one-stop-shop in onboarding from client categorisation, including suitability and appropriateness, through to KYC and AML. Being appointed CTO at Muinmos is a great opportunity for me, and I am very excited to be working with Remonda again and to join her team.”
“We are thrilled that Emil has decided to join Muinmos. I have known him for many years. He is highly skilled and will be a huge asset to our organisation. We have very ambitious growth plans, and Emil’s extensive experience and insight will be invaluable,” Remonda Kirketerp-Moller, Founder and CEO of Muinmos, said.
