Equiti Capital, a subsidiary of Equiti Group, announced today that the company has deployed FX aggregator Lucera LumeFX’s technology.
According to the official press release, the deployment of Lucera ‘s services will allow Equiti Capital to expand globally without the need to own or operate any infrastructure. The company mentioned that it can now focus on its core competencies.
Lucera is a New York-based firm wholly owned by financial services provider BGC Partners. The company provides infrastructure and connectivity, priced on a SaaS subscription model. Additionally, the company offers a high-performance cross-asset matching, aggregation, and price distribution platform as a service.

Commenting on the recent announcement, Benedict Sears, Head of Equiti Capital’s FX Desk, said: “We are very pleased to have partnered with Lucera to expand the technology we use to distribute liquidity to clients. Equiti Capital aims to provide customizable liquidity streams to every client through the latest deployment of Lucera’s LumeFX platform. LumeFX can be deployed in NY4, LD4, TY3, FR2, and SG1. “Lucera’s LumeFX platform allows Equiti to provide customizable liquidity streams to every client, aiding the matching of client interests to reduce market impact, while monitoring risks, including pre-trade credit checks, to ensure business continuity even in volatility spikes without compromising our dynamic risk management,” Sears added.
